Business Settings is the control panel for your entire account. All configuration lives here — from your logo and address to FBR credentials and invoice templates.
Navigating to Business Settings
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Click Business Settings.
Business Profile Tab
- Business Name: Your legal registered business name. This appears on every invoice.
- Business Logo: Upload a PNG or JPG (recommended 300×100px). Appears on the top of all printed invoices.
- NTN: Your 7-digit National Tax Number.
- STRN: Sales Tax Registration Number (if GST registered).
- Address / City / Province: Full registered address.
- Phone / Email: Business contact shown on invoice footer.
- Currency: Select PKR or the appropriate currency.
- Financial Year Start: For Pakistan, set July 1.
- Click Update Settings.
⚠️ Warning:Ensure the Business Name and NTN exactly match your FBR registration. Any mismatch causes FBR invoice submission failures.
FBR Settings Tab
- FBR Mode: Choose Manual (no FBR), Sandbox (testing), or Production (live).
- POS ID: Provided by FBR for your specific business location.
- FBR Token: The password associated with your POS ID.
- Click Test Connection to validate credentials before going live.
- Click Save FBR Settings.
Invoice Settings Tab
- Invoice Prefix: A text prefix added to all invoice numbers (e.g., "INV-" produces INV-0001).
- Invoice Layout: Choose between Default, Compact, or Thermal receipt format.
- Invoice Footer: Add custom text to the invoice footer (e.g., "Terms: Payment due within 30 days. Thank you for your business!").
- Click Update Invoice Settings.
Tax Settings — Adding a New Tax Rate
- Go to Settings → Tax Rates.
- Click Add Tax Rate.
- Name: Descriptive label (e.g., "GST @18%").
- Rate (%): The percentage (e.g., 18).
- Type: Inclusive (price includes tax) or Exclusive (tax added on top).
- Click Save.
📌 Note:Tax rate changes only affect new transactions. Existing invoices retain the tax rate that was applied at the time they were created.
