How to Register a New Business

By System Updated Aug 04, 2026 138 views

Registering a business is how you onboard a new client onto the DI-FBR platform. Once registered and subscribed, you earn a commission and the business gets access to the full ERP system.

Step 1 — Open the Register Business Form

  1. In the Partner Portal sidebar, click Businesses.
  2. Click the Register Business button (blue button in the hero section at the top).
  3. The multi-step registration wizard opens.

Step 2 — Business Profile Information

  1. Business Name: Enter the full legal registered name of the business (must match FBR records exactly).
  2. Business Type: Select the type (Sole Proprietor, Partnership, Private Limited, etc.).
  3. NTN (National Tax Number): The 7-digit FBR National Tax Number. This is mandatory for FBR compliance.
  4. STRN (Sales Tax Registration Number): Enter if the business is a registered sales-tax person. Leave blank if not applicable.
  5. Mobile / Phone: The business's primary contact number.
  6. Email: The business's email — used for the admin login of the new business account.
  7. City / Address: Full business address.
⚠️ Warning:Ensure the Business Name and NTN are entered exactly as they appear on the FBR IRIS portal. Any mismatch will cause FBR invoice submission failures for the client.

Step 3 — Select a Subscription Plan

  1. Plan: Choose the appropriate tier for this client (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise). Hover over each plan to see what features are included.
  2. Billing Period: Select Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime. Yearly plans offer a significant discount and generate larger commissions.
  3. The Setup Fee and Subscription Cost are calculated and displayed automatically.

Step 4 — Payment

  1. The total amount (Setup Fee + Subscription) is deducted from your Partner Wallet.
  2. Ensure your wallet balance is sufficient before proceeding. If not, top up your wallet first (see the Wallet & Earnings guide).
  3. Confirm the payment by clicking Confirm & Register.

Step 5 — Submission

  1. Review all details on the confirmation screen.
  2. Click Submit Registration.
  3. The business is now in Pending Verification status and will be activated by the DI-FBR team within 1 business day.
  4. Your commission is credited to your wallet once the business account is activated.
💡 Tip:Consider registering businesses on Yearly plans wherever possible — annual subscriptions generate 10–12x the commission of monthly plans and significantly reduce churn risk for your portfolio.
