The Leads page is your built-in CRM — track every prospect from first contact to the moment they become a paying business client. Never lose track of a potential deal.

Navigating to Leads

  1. Click Leads in the Partner Portal sidebar.
  2. The leads list shows all your prospects with their current status, assigned salesperson, and follow-up dates.

Adding a New Lead

  1. Click the + Add Lead button at the top-right.
  2. Fill in the lead form:
    • Full Name: The contact person's name at the prospect company.
    • Business Name: The company you are prospecting.
    • Mobile: The contact number for follow-up calls.
    • Email: Contact email address.
    • Lead Source: How you found this lead — Referral, Cold Call, LinkedIn, Walk-in, Exhibition, Website, etc.
    • Status: Set the current stage:
      • New — Just added, not yet contacted.
      • Contacted — You have reached out but no response yet.
      • Meeting Scheduled — A product demo or meeting is booked.
      • Proposal Sent — You have shared a pricing quote or proposal.
      • Negotiating — Actively discussing terms.
      • Won — Lead converted to a registered business client.
      • Lost — The prospect decided not to proceed.
    • Assigned To: Select the team member responsible for closing this lead.
    • Follow-up Date: The date and time of the next planned contact. This creates a reminder.
    • Notes: Add context about the conversation — what the prospect's pain points are, their current software, decision timeline, etc.
  3. Click Save Lead.
💡 Tip:Always set a Follow-up Date on every lead immediately after adding it. This ensures no prospect is ever forgotten and your pipeline stays active.

Updating a Lead's Status

  1. Find the lead in the list.
  2. Click the Edit button (pencil icon) on the lead row.
  3. Change the Status to reflect the current stage.
  4. Add a new Note describing what happened in the latest interaction (e.g., "Called on 17 June. Interested in Professional plan. Wants to see a demo of FBR invoicing feature.").
  5. Update the Follow-up Date to the next contact.
  6. Click Update Lead.

Converting a Lead to a Business

When a lead says yes and is ready to sign up:

  1. Open the lead and click Convert to Business.
  2. A pre-filled registration form opens using the lead's name, email, and business details.
  3. Complete the subscription selection and payment steps (same as the Register Business workflow).
  4. Click Submit. The lead status automatically changes to Won.

Filtering Your Leads Pipeline

  1. Use the Status filter to see leads at a specific stage (e.g., show only "Proposal Sent" to do a follow-up sweep).
  2. Use the Follow-up Date filter to see all leads requiring action today.
  3. Use the Search bar to find a specific lead by name or business name.
📌 Note:Leads marked as Won are linked to the registered business in your portfolio. Their NTN and contact info are carried forward automatically — you do not need to re-enter them.
