How to Edit or Delete a Product

Editing a Product
- Go to Products → List Products.
- Find the product using the search bar or by scrolling.
- Click the pencil (Edit) icon or the product name.
- Make the required changes across the tabs (Basic Info, Pricing, Stock, FBR).
- Click Update Product.
📌 Note:Changing the Selling Price on a product does NOT retroactively change previously issued invoices. Only new invoices will use the updated price.
Deleting a Product
- Find the product in the list.
- Click the trash (Delete) icon.
- A confirmation dialog appears. Click Yes, Delete.
⚠️ Warning:You cannot delete a product that has been used in any sale, purchase, or stock adjustment. Deleting removes it from the catalog only — historical transactions are preserved. To retire a product from the active catalog without deleting it, consider deactivating or re-categorising it.
